So today was another day spent at home. I am trying to stay home unless I have to go out. Our state has limited contact to 10 people or under. My husband and daughters are still going to work, although my daughters have reduced hours now. I am trying not to stress over everything but its hard. I have been trying to limit the amount of news that I watch, just getting the headlines daily, but sometimes even that is too much. There’s a fine line for me between staying informed and avoiding too much stress. So I try to come into my craft room daily and create something to try to take my mind off everything going on. We are still dealing with aftershocks from the earthquake. Thankfully I am not feeling them although today we had some stronger ones of 3.3.
What do you think about box cards? I think they are pretty cute so I decided to make one with a new stamp set I got from MFT stamps called “Party Animals”.
I cut the box using an Echo Park die and stamped and fussy cut the animals. I used alcohol markers to color them. I used a Honey Bee die to cut the grass and I decorated the box with paper from Echo Park. After the coloring it was just a matter of glueing everything together.
I love to make cards! I love to take some paper and create something to send to someone I care about. There is nothing like getting a card in the mail to let you know someone is thinking of you. In this blog you will see some of the cards I create and also find out a little of what is going on in my life!
