One of the benefits of people staying home more than usual is that some of us have spare
time that they didn’t have before. My best friend in Scotland is usually so busy that we don’t have much time to talk, but in the last few weeks we’ve found that we’ve been calling each other more than we have in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, we have always stayed in touch, its just that the calls are more frequent now, and I’m grateful for that.
So this card reminds me of friendship and I am so grateful for my best friend who has been in my life since I was 17 years old. Even though we are thousands of miles apart, I know that she is there whenever I need her.
This is a stamp set from MFT called Magical friends. I stamped the images and colored them with alcohol markers. For the background I used the MFT mini cloud edge stencil with Distress Oxide inks in broken china. I cut the grass with the Honey Bee Stamps grass border die and added dimension to one layer with 3M foam tape. I hope you like it!
