It was a beautiful day today but very cold and breezy. My daughter and I spent the day looking for a sewing machine. I guess those are hard to come by these days. We lucked out eventually at Joann’s who had just had a shipment. My last sewing machine is 25 years old so this one seems pretty fancy in comparison! It’ll take a while to figure out all that it can do. Once I get some elastic I will start by making some masks and then make a blanket for my daughter. I bought the fabric about 6 years ago and never got around to making it!!
Today I spent some time making cards to say “thank you” to the medical professionals who are in the front line of this pandemic. This is one I made for a female Doctor.




I used the stamps from MFT and colored it with alcohol markers. I used the English brick stencil from MFT for the background. I added the sentiment “Doctor is another word for Hero”.
