We are in the middle of a bad cold snap right now and even got a little snow on Sunday. I’m glad it’s going to gradually warm up again by the end of the week but it was a reminder of winter being just around the corner!

I’ve been cozy and warm inside making cards. Mostly Christmas cards. I got a bunch of new stamps yesterday that I can’t wait to play with!!

Today I made a card using a die from MFT called Quilt Square Cover Up Die-Namics.

It’s a pretty simple card to make. I cut 3 Christmas papers with the die and then cut it again in black.

I planned how I wanted to place the papers and then covered the back of the black die with double sided tape. That made it easy to place the patterned paper pieces in to their places.

Once I placed the patterned paper, I adhered it to a white card base and then stamped the sentiment in black ink.

I like how simple it is but it’s also unique I think. You can use this die for valentine cards, birthdays, Halloween etc. so many possibilities.
