I knew it had been a while since I had posted, but didn’t realize how long it had been. We’ve had a lot going on health-wise in our family but I think we are back on track. One of my daughters and I suffer from chronic health issues and once in a while they flare up.
I hope that for those of you that celebrate, that you had a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was very nice but very quiet with just the four of us. I actually prefer that in some ways. Much less pressure!

I’ve been making lots of card in between everything that’s going on. Mostly Christmas cards. Today I’m sharing a shaker card that I made yesterday.

I die cut the window in the cars front and then added some acetate. I then covered the back with a double row of foam tape.

I added some snowflake and sequin embellishments and then covered the window with snowflake paper.

The snowman die is from Cottagw Cutz and it’s one of my favorites this year. I die cut him in white and then used alcohol markers to color his hat, scarf, nose and buttons.

I used a white gel pen to add dots and stripes to his hat and scarf and also added some highlights to his buttons and eyes.

I stamped the sentiment and adhered the snowman and then added everything to a light blue card base.
