Its been an uneventful day. I’ve spent most of the day in my craft room without too much to show for the time I’ve spent in here!!  I really should clean and organize it but that seems like too much effort!  It would be nice to be able to find what I’m looking for though!  I don’t have a very big space and I have too many things.  I don’t have a very good system for organization.

So today I made a set of notecards.  They are very simple but its good to have them on hand, especially nowadays when we can’t see our family and friends as easily as we once could.  So its nice to send a note in the mail to let them know they are in our thoughts.

Here are the cards I made:

I embossed some white cardstock and then used different colored cardstock to frame them.  I stamped “Hello” in the top left corner and adhered everything together and that was it! Very simple but I like how they turned out.

Set of notecards

Yesterday was a busy day so I didn’t get much done in the craft room.  We woke up to 3″ of snow but thankfully it has all melted off now.  Its cold today but the sun is shining.

This set of cards are pretty easy. Its always nice to have some notecards on hand and at this time, when we are isolated from each other, sending a card to someone can really brighten their day.

I used the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder to create the background, leaving a blank space so I could stamp “hello” from Hero Arts.  I used Avery Elle Fog pigment ink pad.  I used papers from Recollections Dreamy paper pad.
