Busy, busy…

How are you? We have been enjoying unseasonably mild weather for January, but it looks like all of that is going to change this weekend with snow on the way.

I’ve been so busy with my Etsy shop, mostly with paper hearts. Lots and lots of people have been ordering, which is great, but I haven’t had much time to create anything new! So last night I was determined to create something with some of the new stamps I got a few weeks ago.

This is one of the cards…

I love this little puppy. It’s a stamp set by Penny Black called “Happy Heart Day”.

I stamped and colored the image on some white cardstock. I used a die set from MFT stamps called stitched mod rectangle stax die-namics. I then layered it with some patterned paper.

I used some adhesive foam to add some dimension to the layers.

So that’s it for today. I hope to be able to have the time to share some more cards soon.

It finally feels like fall!

The weather has finally changed and things have cooled down, so it feels like fall now! Yesterday my girls and I went to the pumpkin patch for our yearly tradition of picking out pumpkins. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun.

Its been a busy time so I haven’t blogged much about the cards that I have been making. So here’s one that I worked on the other day.

This is a Halloween box card that I made using “Halloween Hoo” by MFT stamps. I love these little owls!

I used the A2 box card die from Echo Park to make the box and used some of MFT’s Halloween papers to decorate it. Then I stamped the images and colored them with copic markers.

I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and then attached them to the box.

I think it came together quite well. I don’t know why I don’t make more of these box cards as I think they are very unique and usually turn out very cute.

I hope you are well and enjoying nice fall weather.

See you next time!

Halloween RV card!

I came across this die from Cottage Cutz the other day and I had to have it! We love our family vacations in our RV every year and so this was right up my alley!

There are a lot of tiny pieces in this die and I cut everything out in white cardstock and then colored it with copic markers.

It took a while to piece everything together but I think it was worth it. I did make a few mistakes that I will correct when I make it again but I don’t think they are that noticeable.

Next time I will cut it in different colored cardstock and see how that looks but I like how it turned out with the coloring.

I layered some patterned paper together and then adhered the RV to that. I attached it all to a grey cardbase.
